Ladysmith, in just over a minute!
This time-lapse video shows the beautiful Town of Ladysmith, all in slightly over a minute!. Which is also where Kathy and I call home, a truly beautiful place located in the southern end of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Made from over two thousand still images, combined into just over a minute long videoclip, I've attempted to show just some of Ladysmith on a typical afternoon. Each image was exposed for 2 seconds to create the motion blur, and a 5 second interval between shots. It is my first time-lapse experiment, and I couldn't have picked a better town to try this, hope you enjoy.
Kathy's Bird Sanctuary
If any birds could ever be so lucky as to happen upon this feeding 'Mecca' here in our backyard, they would think they'd found heaven indeed! This time-lapse video shows our carefully maintained feeders, all of which Kathy keeps well stocked and cleans daily, she even brings the feed in at the end of each day so that no rodents are tempted to steal the bird's food. This time-lapse was made over several days, with approximately 4,600 photos, the changing light conditions come through in this clip.
